So, huzah, here is my first journal.
I haven't posted any photoraphy in over a year either, which is really sad.. this is mainly due to lack of time, lack of inspirtion (that always comes when there ISN'T a camera around), stuff at home and just generally not feeling arty or creative enough... and just hating my work. And my camera
I've also taken a load of work off this account in order for me to update stuff and make nice little changes to put onto my new account (... there is a link to it on my page somewhere I think that you can use if you want to add it too.. although there isn't actually anything up yet) BUT when I got my shiny shiny new laptop and a (free) copy of Photoshop Elements 5 (NOT the best, I know, but it WAS free and I can't afford to buy full proper CS3 or anything.. not even my college has that... the photography department and media department are all on Elements 3 still...) that I worked with (I actually like Elements... its nice and pretty easy, and is soo much better compared to college and the photoshop 7 I have at home which is awful....) and came up with some good stuff, but never had the time to put anything up on here... THEN some cheeky swine at college goes and kicks my bag with my laptop in it, BREAKS the screen which is costing me nearly £170 quid to repair (which my dad is having to pay for at the moment cause I REALLY don't have the money) and i possibly won't get it returned till next week. It's been out of action for the past... like... three weeks. It's been agony, I can tell you...
REALLY annoying, not only for the photography work, but also recently I've had a load of coursework deadlines, with most of my coursework on my laptop that I needed to get off it... but for some reasson it decided to spite me and when I tried to get all the stuff off it the first time by connecting the laptop to a different monitor, it didn't work.
NICE MOVE BUDDY!!
THEN after my deadlines are over, and my laptop is waiting to be picked up, I thouight abut trying it again to see if it would let me take anything off, connected it to my brothers monitor and it worked FINE!!
GAH! *shakes fist in anger
But appart from that gay, things are ok I guess. I got into Chester to do Christian Youth Studies, which is a BIG change from the subjects I'm doing now... (Music Tech, Media and Drama for those that don't know.. even though I believe it is on my profile somewhere...) and I'm part of a worship band for my church youth group which is good fun... and should be due to do a sermon sometime soon... my theme/ subject- only because I couldn't think of what else to call it title wise- is 'Micro and Macro' and I was thinking about going to a beach sometime soon and doing a bunch of photo's for it... if you want to find out more, come along.. to both the beach and the sermon... my first one, so I'll be a little nervous =S but it will be good to see people there and I'll try not to make it boring =]
I also plan on doing a second one... about Love.. there will be silly singing in it if I actually do it, so might be a laugh...
If you wanna find out more, or have any opportunities for photography for me (either taking, or being in) please let me know- email me or message me on this if you want...
Anyway, have a good weekend and a good next week guys...
